Exterior Source is seeking experienced concrete floor coating installers to partner with us on residential and light commercial projects throughout Hampton Roads. This opportunity is intended for subcontractors with proven, hands-on experience installing epoxy, polyurea, or polyaspartic concrete floor coating systems. This is not an entry-level role.
Limited orientation is provided to review manufacturer installation steps, product specifications, and warranty requirements. Prior concrete floor coating installation experience is required.
Scope of Work
• Mechanical concrete surface preparation including grinding, crack repair, cleaning, and masking
• Operation of professional surface preparation equipment, including planetary grinders and dust-collection systems
• Installation of epoxy, polyurea, or polyaspartic coating systems according to specifications
• Proper curing, finishing, and job-site cleanup
• Professional interaction with homeowners and business customers
• Completion of projects to quality, safety, and appearance standards
Required Experience & Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of concrete floor coating installation experience
• Proven mechanical surface preparation and grinding experience
• Ability to complete projects independently using your own crew
• Ability to pass a background check
Independent Contractor Requirements
• Operate as an independent business (sole proprietor or LLC)
• Active general liability and workers’ compensation insurance required
• Ability to accept or decline work based on availability
• Provide your own crew, tools, materials, and transportation for job sites
