(A) Core Purpose
- Be responsible for building up application technology competences in rinse-off areas, especially bar soap and hair conditioning e.g. hair oils and shampoo.
- Lead and develop regional marketing concepts, support key customer projects based on identified business needs in South Asia
- Be responsible for technical training and support for BASF products portfolio in rinse-off application in South Asia
(B) Main Responsibilities, Tasks & Deliverables
- Lead and conduct the lab experiment on application & formulation development of rinse-off solutions, including new application solutions and performance evaluation
- Support and work with regional marketing team to develop new marketing concepts, launch data of new products and promotion kits with target BASF portfolio
- Be responsible for regional technical support of BASF ingredients for rinse-off application in South Asia
- Analyze and document results, prepare technical reports and summaries for rinse-off projects
- Communicate/exchange technical know-how within region
- Competitor analysis, performance evaluation comparing with competitors
- Transfer the new technology and new products from global launch to South Asia
- Support innovation collaboration projects with key accounts in South Asia
- Support internal and external customer seminars / workshop / trainings and events
- Comply with regulations concerning safety, health, and environment

- New concept and application of new products according to identified rinse-off market needs

(F) Technical Competencies
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Physical Chemistry / Cosmetics Formulation Experience, instrumental analysis, laboratory safety management, standard IT-applications
(G) Minimum Education and Qualification Requirement
- Education: BSc or MSc in chemistry, cosmetic science or related area
- Working experience: MSc or BSc with 8+ years of working experience of personal care application technology in a laboratory environment.
Other requirements: English- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking

What you'll do
