Great Ocean Road Health serves the communities of Lorne, Apollo Bay, and the Surf Coast, providing high-quality, accessible healthcare close to home. Formed in 2019 through the integration of Lorne Community Hospital and Otway Health, we offer a range of services across our Lorne and Apollo Bay campuses. About Hesse Rural Health
Hesse Rural Health is a key integrated rural health care provider located within the three local government areas of Surf Coast, Colac Otway and Golden Plains. The organisation provides a broad range of services which include: Aged Residential including Dementia Specific Care, Sub-Acute Hospital, Urgent Care, Community Health, Health Promotion, District Nursing, Allied Health, Palliative Care, Home Care Packages and Planned Activity Groups.
Services operate from sites at Winchelsea, Beeac, Rokewood and Bannockburn. Hesse provides a community based, multi-disciplinary team approach to the identified health needs of the population and aims to promote the wellbeing of the rural community it serves.
About the Role
GORH and Hesse are offering an exciting opportunity to join our partnership Graduate Nurse program for Enrolled Nurses, who have successfully completed their studies and seeking their first year of work as an EN.
The program will be over a year and provide a supportive environment to consolidate knowledge and develop nursing skills.
There will be an opportunity to work in our Aged Care area, Acute and Urgent Care Services and Dementia Specific unit.
6 months of the role will be based in Apollo Bay and Great Ocean Road Health and the other 6 months in Winchelsea at Hesse Rural Health.
There is an extensive education program at both sites which you will be actively encouraged to participate in. Consideration can be given to flexible shift times.
The successful candidates will have a flexible approach and be committed to providing Person Centred approach in our Montessori model of care.
