What you’ll do
As the Administrative Officer, you will ensure the reception area runs smoothly and serve as the first point of contact for patients at Timboon Clinic. You will be trained to perform a full range of duties, including greeting patients and visitors promptly and professionally, whether in person or over the phone. You will respond to queries face-to-face, by telephone, or in writing, taking messages and forwarding them to the appropriate person. Additionally, you will carry out general office reception and administrative tasks as directed by the Practice Manager.

About You
To thrive in this role, you bring experience in Health Services or Office Administration within a busy team environment. You are confident using the Microsoft suite and other database software, with strong literacy and numeracy skills. You communicate effectively with the public and demonstrate a high level of customer service. You have strong records management and excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with minimal supervision. Your problem-solving and interpersonal skills enable you to build positive relationships and gain cooperation from clients, customers, and colleagues. Knowledge of the Victorian Public Health System is desirable.
