Summary
Monitors continuously the communications in the Dispatch office. Initiates responses to security incidents and channels information to approriate responders. Observes all CCTV monitors to ensure proper operation and to detect any illegal or inappropriate activity and alert patrolling security officers to same. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Documents all activities of Security officers, in dispatch log, clearly, concisely, and timely. Log all in-coming telephone or radio requests for service.
Education
Preferred: Some computer course work.
Minimum: Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Minimum: 1 year experience in a dispatcher or security setting.
Special Skills
Minimum: Basic computer literacy skills required.
