Highlights:

Summary: The Administrative Fellow will have the opportunity to rotate through several key departments across the health system in order to learn how a community health system operates. The Fellow will have rotations with key leaders and departments at Baptist Health, including acute care hospitals, corporate departments, cancer center, ambulatory care clinics, and support departments. This individual will actively participate in organizational projects and learn health care management skills. In addition to the support of their preceptor, the Administrative Fellow will have the opportunity to participate in Baptist Health's internal Leadership Coaching Program and be assigned a coach to walk alongside them throughout their fellowship. Education / Experience:Bachelor and Master's degrees required. Must have 2 Letters of Recommendation from 1 Professor or Faculty Member and 1 Baptist Health Leader. Preveious work experience in healthcare preferred. License / Certification: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• High-level of interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of supervision, administration, personnel and physicians.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 70% of the workday and mobility 30% of the workday.
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
