Highlights:

Summary:

The System Administrator shall be responsible to maintain and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, and related hardware and software. This individual will perform routine system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The System Administrator will collaborate with IT teams to implement upgrades, manage user accounts, and ensure system security in compliance with organizational policies. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree in a field of study relevant to the current position is preferred. Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in a similar or related role required; however, candidates with an equivalent combination of experience, education, certification, and demonstrated proficiency in a similar or related role will also be considered.

Licensure/Certification:

One or more current, industry standard certifications are preferred (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization, Citrix Certified Associate (CCA), etc.).

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Proficient in Windows Server and/or Linux Server operating systems.
    • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task management.

    • Meticulous attention to detail in managing server configurations and documentation.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
