Highlights:

Summary: The Physician Practice Clinical Team Lead shall be responsible to assist the Physicians, Providers, and managers of the physician practice with the organization and implementation of day-to-day clinic activities. The Team Lead is also responsible to facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate clinic activities for the provision of quality patient care. The Team Lead shall serve as a mentor to the clinic staff. In accordance with corporate and departmental policies and procedures, this position will demonstrate the consistent ability to act as a role model by providing direction in the application of the clinical process, quality/performance improvement standards and organizational/departmental goals and objectives. This position assumes responsibility for the clinic operations in the absence of the manager/supervisor. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required. Requires minimum 2 years physician office clinical experience or have completed a structured medical training program, i.e., MA, LPN, or Paramedic. License / Certification: LPN, MA, or EMT preferred, BLS required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledgeable of EKG, sphygmomanometer, audiometer, PFT machine, Holter Monitor, King of Hearts, wheel chair, thermometers (oral, rectal, tympanic).
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
• Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
• Ability to observe, assesses, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• The ability to communicate effectively with Providers, managers, and patients.
• The ability to show compassion and sensitivity for patient comfort.
• Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Position requires sitting for 30% of the workday and mobility 70% of the workday.
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
