Highlights:

Summary: The Call Center Operator shall be repsonsible to answer the phone in a timely, courteous, and professional manner, as well as, to respond accordingly to any crisis situation. Additionally, this individual must also be able to respond to Lifeline calls and take appropriate measures for the call. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. License / Certification: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be continuously alert and able to discern caller's needs to take quick and correct action.
• Must speak with clear diction at all times and have a high level of hearing and visual acuity.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Continuous sitting at the PBX console answering phones.
Continuous talking when answering phones and relaying messages.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
