Highlights:

Summary: The Behavioral Health Clinician shall plan and implement therapy services for Crossbridge. The Clinician shall function as part of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for assessments, group, individual and family therapy, case management, and other therapeutic services. This individual is also responsible to provide collaborative discharge planning services with patients and their families in order to promote adequate and timely discharge plans. In addition, the Clinician may assume primary therapist responsibilities as directed by the Physician. The Clinician may also serve as a preceptor to Behavioral Health interns. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related field required. Prior experience with psychiatry, behavioral health, and knowledge of case management is preferred. License / Certification: Active LMSW, LICSW, ALC, LPC or LMFT required, SECURE required, BLS required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to evaluate and access difficulties and strengths in age specific psycho-social functioning
• Knowledge of diagnostic criteria from the most current DSM
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to cope with stressful/rapidly changing situations
• Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations
• Ability to work from broad directions and be self motivated
• Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Must have organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization.
• Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guests, visitors, and patients

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements: Work required for the after hours and holidays. May require weekend work hours.
Position requires sitting for 50% of the workday and mobility 50% of the workday.
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
Must be able to pass designated crisis intervention training examination and safely implement all physical aspects of this intervention.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
