Are you passionate about driving better customer outcomes through data, systems integration, and process excellence?

Customer Trust and Security is dedicated to protecting Bankwest customers by continuously strengthening our capabilities in customer lifecycle management, financial crime prevention, and operational resilience.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Process Improvement Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in process analysis combined with solid technology skills — particularly across system integration, data migration, and workflow‑driven platforms.

See yourself in the team

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Senior Process Improvement Analyst who thrives in a delivery‑focused and collaborative environment. You will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary squad to uplift customer lifecycle processes, drive improvements across data and workflow solutions, and enhance customer consequence management. Your work will involve understanding business needs, shaping requirements, identifying process and system impacts, and partnering closely with technology and operational teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

What your role will involve

  • Analyse and interpret complex data and operational workflows to identify improvement opportunities and uncover root causes of issues.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation such as process maps, concept papers, functional specifications, and improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to validate requirements, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment throughout delivery.
  • Assess the impacts, risks, and feasibility of proposed process or system changes, considering customer experience, operational effectiveness, and control requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to gather insights, confirm understanding, and co‑design effective solutions.
  • Contribute to change and implementation activities, including training materials, readiness support, and post‑implementation reviews.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented changes to ensure sustained improvements and ongoing optimisation.

We're interested in people who have

  • Experience in process analysis and improvement, ideally within medium‑to‑large organisations.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex data, workflows, and dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting technology‑enabled change, such as systems integration, data migration, or workflow‑driven platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience facilitating workshops or focus groups to gather requirements and co‑design solutions.
  • Proficiency with process mapping and analysis tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross‑functional teams in Agile ways of working.
  • Desirable: experience in financial crime, customer lifecycle management, or risk‑based process design.
