Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

Job Description

GCIB Coverage team is made up of focused industry / product groups or geography groups that support onshore deal teams orchestrate capital raising and strategic advisory transactions.

Specifically, the team helps Global Investment Bankers of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in their business origination and client coverage efforts through building of client pitchbooks and supporting business analysis.

Client Services - An associate working for the process would be expected to not only just look for the company/industry information from the published reports, but also be able to analyze and understand which data points and financial metrics are important for a particular industry. Hence, the profile requires advanced research capabilities, database knowledge, finance and economics understanding as well as analytical skills. The candidate should be able to convert factual information into a highly analytical and incisive presentation. Support Syndication of Fixed Income Instruments which would include providing financial as well as qualitative analysis for each proposed loan/bond offering and providing regular market updates to the bankers. Provide expertise in ESG issues during transaction execution across the full capital structure.

Global Markets Credit (GMC) is a team within Enterprise Credit which is responsible for ensuring a robust and consistent credit underwriting process for Global Markets lending and trading counterparty credit activities.  GMC partners directly with Global Markets front office teams on client selection, structuring, and underwriting activities to drive revenue growth while maintaining appropriate risk discipline.  GMC also coordinates engagement with key control partners including Global Risk, Legal / Documentation, Onboarding teams, Collateral management, Credit Review and Audit in accordance with the Risk Framework and Internal and External standards. GBS Team will partner with the Global Markets Credit teams on Portfolio Management and Underwriting related activities. This workstream will be part of the Wholesale Credit Data Management group.

Quantitative Services (QS) team consists of several groups working for Global Markets. It is a sub-specialty focusing on development and operation of processes with a high degree of quantitative analysis, data management or technology development. The group covers several lines of business across the globe. QS Team is further structured into sub-teams – Cross-Asset Solutions, Global Markets Data Management, Strategic Data and Projects, Client Valuations Group and Quartz Operations Group.

Skills exposure : Must have a combination of strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail and client focus, Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and oral communications skills,

Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus, Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities               

Requirements

Education: MBA/ PGDM / Maters in Economics / Quantitative Technique & Economics/ Mathematics/ Supply Chain/ Operations/ Statistics/ Data Sciences

Location: Students should be willing to work in any locations namely – Mumbai, Chennai, Gurugram, Gandhinagar (GIFT), Hyderabad as per company requirement
