The Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using welding techniques to fabricate or repair components according to specifications. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

As a Welder, you will also be responsible for:

  • Performing welding operations using MIG, TIG, SMAW, or other welding processes as per job requirements.
  • Being able to perform the welding part fit up activities and Prepare and set up welding equipment and materials.
  • Reading and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Inspecting welded joints for quality and compliance with specifications and maintaining welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Following all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to welding safety standards.
  • Performing grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks as needed and documenting work performed and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a diploma or equivalent; Welding certification preferred.
  • Have an experience: 6-10 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Have a proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, SMAW).
  • Have an ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Have a knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures.
  • Have a good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
