Design engineer is responsible for Safety/Control valves design to meet customer requirements, and ensuring compliance to codes & industry regulations.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

·        Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects to develop safety valves meeting customer application needs and specification requirements.

·        Using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

·        Reviewing customer specifications and translate customer specification in to order instructions for manufacturing of safety or control valves.

·        Providing bills of material, drawing information, test specifications and processing instructions for meeting quality and manufacturing requirements of the product.

·        Supporting sales to provide technical design solutions for complex safety valve application.

·        Being responsible for other duties include driving engineering process and productivity/simplification improvements.

To be successful in this role you will:

·        Have Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.

·        Have 5 years of industrial experience in mechanical equipment design.

·        Have Knowledge of ASME Codes & Standards and SAP ERP system.

·        Have interpersonal and leadership skills.

·        Have basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, welding, cutting etc.

·        Have experience with ASME VIII & B16.34 and PED, 3D design (Solidworks), mechanical design & tech writing.
