Purpose:
The Regulatory Scientist will perform a variety of duties related to ingredient and finished product specifications, labelling, specification management systems, and other customer information and/or regulatory-related assignments as requested.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage in and support all product documentation creation, management, and updates
  • Create and Maintain Internal Finished Product Specifications.
  • Create and Maintain Internal Ingredient Specifications.
  • Create and Maintain product labels
  • Support allergen policy compliance
  • Support kosher management of ingredients and finished goods 
  • Track and monitor progress against established goals and deadlines.
  • R&D Activities may be required
Requirements:
  • Must be organized and detail oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a customer service mind-set required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required: Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in R&D/Quality systems in a Food Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical company.
  • A minimum of 2 years-experience in R&D, Regulatory and/or Quality or commensurate experience
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office software, knowledge of specification management systems preferred.
