Tell me about this job. BAE Systems is seeking a Program Scheduler to support a diverse and complex Enterprise Integrated Master Schedule (EIMS). The position interacts directly with the customer and BAE Systems senior managers, offering support across the spectrum of program acquisition, sustainment, integration, scheduling baseline control, analysis, and reporting. This position will track and assess program status, technical performance, contract performance, schedule, and risk. Employee will serve as the lead of selected technical project(s) and acts as a liaison between the customer and internal scheduling team. Employee must be capable of providing the following: Provides status of projects, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.



Candidate will perform the following duties: Establish and maintain multiple project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 software. Ensure all schedules are fully compliant with industry standards, DOW schedule policies, the National Defense Industrial Association’s Planning and Schedule Excellence Guide (PASEG), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements, and DCMA 14-Point Assessment. Review and analyze contractor schedules for compliance with DID requirements and import into Primavera to integrate with Acquisition schedules. Develop, review and analyze Government schedules, including duration, relationships, constraints, and critical path. Identify schedule risks and opportunities. Review and recommend schedule work-around and recovery plans. Perform schedule analysis and identify trends using schedule metrics, such as BEI and SPI. Coordinate inputs from various disciplines and functions to consolidate into the project master schedule and ensure accurate reporting. Lead scheduling status reviews with customers. Prepare summary level and detailed schedules for briefings. Preferred experience in preparation of reports, inclusive of impacts, logic changes, float and delays. Build collaborative internal relationships with program team as well as external relationships with customers, other agencies, and business partners. Work with IMS stakeholders to ensure scheduling best practices are implemented across the ICBM System Directorate and interface regularly with government counterparts to comply with evolving support requirements and mission objectives.



Required Education, Experience, & Skills

8+ Years with HS
6+ Years with AA
4+ Years with BS
Experience creating and managing an integrated master schedule and integrated master plan.
Familiarity with the following reference tools: DoW Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and User Guide, Planning & Schedule Excellence Guide (PASEG), GAO Schedule Assessment Guide, Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG), DoDI 5000.02, and AFI 63-101.
Proficiency with MS Tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Project.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Public speaking.



Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Oracle Primavera P6 experience or Open Plan Professional (OPP).
Able to use the following software applications but not limited to Life Cycle Management Process (LCMP); Microsoft Project; other Analytical software for Health and Risk assessments; Project Analyzer; EVMS; etc.
High focus and attention to detail.
Experience in managing schedules, working through tight deadlines, and identifying risks.
Assess the status of risk management activities based on the inclusion of the project risk mitigation activities in the IMP and IMS.
Serve as the point of contract for ensuring mutual understanding of Government expectations and agreement on the project content, project plan, schedule, and risk.
Capable of providing a detailed integrated execution plan and supporting schedule, identifying what needs to be done and when it should be done.



Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $73350 - $124740

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
