If you’re ready to be part of a collaborative, empowering, and innovative mental health movement, join our team and make a real impact by breaking barriers and healing young minds.&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>Position Summary:</strong></h3> <p><em>The In-School Coordinator is located in various Baltimore County schools sites and plays a vital role in building and managing relationships with K–12 schools to implement and sustain wellness programs that support students’ mental, physical, and emotional well-being. This role involves outreach, program development, coordination with school administrators, monthly workshop development and facilitation (for educators and/or caregivers), and ongoing support to ensure program effectiveness and alignment with school needs. The In-School Coordinator role may carry a weekly caseload of up to 15 sessions per week, depending on school and volume need.&nbsp;</em></p> <h3><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></h3> <p><strong>Develop and Maintain Partnerships:</strong><strong><br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Identify and engage prospective schools for partnership opportunities.</li> <li>Build strong, collaborative relationships with school administrators, counselors, and key stakeholders</li> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact for all school wellness program partners.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Program Planning and Implementation:</strong><strong><br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with internal teams and school partners to design wellness programs tailored to each school’s unique needs.</li> <li>Coordinate logistics for program delivery including scheduling, materials, and staffing.</li> <li>Ensure all programs comply with school district policies and relevant regulations.</li> <li>Plan and attend school engagement events.</li> <li>Provide support for in-person and teletherapy services to ensure students have oversight.&nbsp; Provide support and exercise escalation procedures in the event students need intervention by school or SBMH staff.</li> <li>Facilitate Educator and/or Caregiver Workshops using evidenced based approaches.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Communication and Support:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide ongoing communication and support to schools throughout the partnership.</li> <li>Gather and relay feedback to improve program quality and effectiveness.</li> <li>Conduct regular site visits to support program implementation and relationship management.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Reporting and Evaluation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Track partnership data, participation, and outcomes.</li> <li>Assist in evaluating program impact and preparing data driven reports for internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for program growth and innovation.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master’s&nbsp; degree in Public Health, Education, Social Work, Psychology</li> <li>LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT in Maryland</li> <li>1+ years of experience in school-based programming, community outreach, or partnership development.</li> <li>Experience with family systems and interventions to drive change.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships.</li> <li>Familiarity with school systems and wellness frameworks.</li> <li>Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in youth wellness, mental health initiatives, or health education.</li> <li>Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus!</li> </ul> <h3><strong>How We Support You:</strong></h3> <p>📚<strong> </strong><strong>Growth &amp; Education</strong> – CEU reimbursement, clinical supervision, and advancement opportunities</p> <p>💜<strong> Supportive &amp; Fun Team Culture</strong> – Be apart of a community of clinicians &amp; operators</p> <p>💰<strong>Competitve Benefits</strong></p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance</li> <li>401(k) + 3% Company Match</li> <li>Paid Holidays &amp; PTO</li> </ul> <p>Backpack Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
