Summary  Installs, maintains, and repairs refrigeration machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Understands heat/transfer equipment.

Repairs refrigeration equipment.

Welds stainless steel equipment.

Takes care of coolers, boiler and air conditioning units for production and offices.

Monitors temperatures.

Cools water for chiller.

Supervisory Responsibilities                                                    

Responsibilities include training employees based upon classification levels.

Education and/or Experience                                                   

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills                                                

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills                                                     

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
