The role

As a Quality Delivery Lead, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You set the standard for excellence across a varied, high‑stakes portfolio. You drive the development and delivery of quality strategies that align with Cavendish Nuclear’s objectives and ensure our projects meet customer, regulatory and stakeholder requirements

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be

  • Driving the development and delivery of quality strategies and plans across programmes and projects.
  • Coaching and advising teams at all levels to embed quality practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Supporting senior leaders to define processes, set quality targets and assure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
  • Ensuring stakeholder requirements are captured and met through robust management systems and effective assurance.
  • Tailoring quality frameworks for specific projects and activities to enable safe, efficient and repeatable delivery.

 

This is a full‑time, permanent role working 37 hours per week, based primarily at our Leicester (Leicestershire) or Warrington (Cheshire) sites. Hybrid working patterns are available with four days per week on site.

 

Essential experience of the Quality Delivery Lead:

  • Proven track record in a nuclear or other highly regulated industry delivering quality strategy and assurance at programme or business level.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor training, with hands‑on audit planning and execution experience.
  • Experience developing, implementing and improving quality management systems (QMS) and associated processes.
  • Experience influencing and coaching multi‑disciplinary teams and senior stakeholders to embed quality.
  • Strong supplier and stakeholder management across complex supply chains and multiple concurrent projects.

 

Qualifications for the Quality Delivery Lead:

  • Essential: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor training.
  • Preferred: HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (e.g. engineering).

 

Security Clearance
