About the role:
 

Reports to Senior Manager

This is a newly created role supporting our listed funds and private equity client facing teams (CFT’s) in Guernsey, providing oversight of routine day-to-day processes to facilitate the delivery of payment operations and automation goals of the CFT’s, as well as technical support and B signatory responsibilities.

You will become a key part of an exciting client team that provides high quality services to clients, ensuring that all payments are completed on time and in line with our Aztec policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as “B” level 4-eyes signatory on payments and administration matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder deliverables and timeframes
  • Provide technical knowledge / support to junior staff in relation to treasury / banking matters
  • Liaison with wider Banking and Payments Centre of Excellence (COE) where required, becoming a key contact between the CFT and COEs
  • Provide oversight and assistance in ad-hoc banking and treasury projects as required within the client team and those driven by wider Aztec-group initiatives
  • Develop and maintain the Operational Procedures Manuals and ISAE checklist templates for payments
  • Manage the volume of payments across multiple teams
  • Monitoring of team KPIs and delivery according to SLAs
  • Training and development of direct line reports
  • Performance appraisal for direct line reports

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • Previous experience of working with fund structures would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite
  • Knowledge of SWIFT and payment messaging is preferred
  • Evidence of managing direct reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as will be required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
