Main purpose of the role

We are seeking an organised and analytically driven individual with a keen eye for detail to support the merchandising team. You will be supporting the team in being responsible for the financial planning and stock management of all AYBL and Because of Alice (BOA) product.

The merchandising team are responsible for strategically driving the business through effective planning, range building and trading. They work with the Buying, Sourcing, Design, Technical, Ecommerce and Marketing teams to achieve commercially successful outcomes for the department and wider business.

You will need to help in ensuring we have the right products at the right time, in the right quantities, as well as the right price whilst applying commercial understanding and fashion sense.

You will be working for both brands, AYBL and BOA.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsible for the smooth-day to day running of all admin-based tasks

Accurately update key merchandising systems

Analyse and interpret data, highlighting opportunities and risk to communicate to team

Work closely with team and suppliers to manage product critical paths

Help in managing the supply chain process with clear communication to all relevant parties

Person Specification

Excellent data management and analytical skills with strong numerical ability. Good understanding of Excel would be advantageous

No specific experience necessary however a keen eye for detail with a willingness to learn and develop is key

Ability to organize and prioritise a wide range of tasks within a fast-paced environment

Confidence to own the role, ability to use initiative and be a self-starter

Passion for the fitness and fashion industry

Our home is located in Redditch, South Birmingham, with easy access routes to the M5/M42, a 20-minute walk to the train station, as well as many bus routes. Not forgetting Arrow Valley Lake which is a stone’s throw away and a beautiful spot to get those steps in or enjoy your lunch with a view.
