Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

As a Full Stack Engineer on the RTO team, you’ll build mission‑critical user experiences in Fusus while delivering highly available backend services and scalable partner integrations across the Axon Fusus ecosystem (cameras, drones, vehicle location, LPR, RMS/CAD, etc.). You’ll work closely with engineering, product, design, Professional Services, and external partners to ship reliable, performant workflows for real‑time crime center customers. You’ll help maintain an open, pragmatic culture that values speed, quality, and collaboration and embody our company values: Join Forces, Win Right, Aim Far.

Join us to work with a passionate, mission-driven group of folks who want to positively impact the lives of first responders and those that they serve.

Work Location: This role is based out of our Seattle, WA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success

What You’ll Do

  • Architect, build, and operate services on AWS (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, etc.) to support production deployments at scale.

  • Develop and improve integration frameworks for partner systems (camera/drones, LPR, RMS/CAD, telemetry) to minimize operational overhead.

  • Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve system reliability.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years building full stack web applications or equivalent experience.

  • Strong frontend experience with React and Angular (component architecture, state management, TypeScript, testing).

  • Solid backend experience in Python (web frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django; REST/GraphQL APIs).

  • Hands‑on experience with AWS services and deploying/operating cloud services in production.

  • Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with integration partners and third‑party systems.

  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., LLM/model APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, or AI-assisted development workflows).

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design, security best practices, and testing.

  • Proven ability to own features end‑to‑end and communicate effectively with product, design, and cross‑functional partners.
