Your Impact


This position is a founding member and key creator of the team responsible for developing new 0 to 1 products. Our mission is to help businesses of all sizes starting within healthcare, retail and logistics solve their most important operational problems using our vision based AI, cloud applications and connected sensors.

You will be voice of the enterprise customer and rapidly work to develop & validate new product concepts in the market, work closely with customers who are believers in the future of Axon AI and help drive the creation of new product pillars that will grow into large product lines in their own right.

You have a mix of startup and big tech experience with the fierce heart of a scrappy CEO leading a bold new venture here at Axon. You must bring full-stack product leader experience —equally comfortable working with world-class engineers, negotiating with legal, and pitching C-suite buyers. You thrive in ambiguity, influence without authority, and chase big, mission-driven outcomes with relentless energy.


What You’ll Do


Location: This role is based out of one of our offices (Atlanta, Boston, Scottsdale, or Seattle) and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.   • 0 to 1 Thinking: We are building new products to solve operational problems for businesses. Rapid Iteration, scrappy fast mover mindset, systematic invention and validation of key new concepts with real world commercial feedback will be crucial.

  • Customer Obsession: Form a deep relationship with Enterprise customers want to adopt our technology in the early stages of maturity. Understand their constraints, big problems as well as they do and build a roadmap to solve those problems while growing Axon’s business.

  • Leadership & Vision: Show leadership and vision across all business functions and create rational direction to all business groups. Influence across all functions within the company from engineering, manufacturing to sales and ensure the right things happen for our customers.

  • Influence & Trust: Build trust with senior leaders through role modeling Axon’s leadership principles. Work with all levels of technical staff across software and hardware engineering earning their trust, holding them accountable and problem solving alongside them. Represent your domain with excellence and clarity at key company forums from our annual planning, business reviews, strategy reviews to our public facing conferences.

  • Deliver Results: Own delivery of the the right roadmap items in their entirety from conception to launch to post-launch measurement and iteration. You will own the “whole” product which includes design, engineering, delivery and across all business functions. As the lead climber of any of our difficult initiatives, you will show ownership of all your dependencies, inventing and simplifying as you face challenges.


What You Bring



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or other analytical field.

  • 6+ years professional experience within world class software product organizations in a multi-disciplinary role, with at least 2 specifically in a product management leadership role.

  • Founder experience paired with experience at mature technology companies

  • 4+ years of industry vertical experience with healthcare, retail or logistics.

  • 1+ years of experience working with large enterprise customers

  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the year to embed deeply with the customer, actively participate in trials/evaluations of our products and learn from them first hand.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, influencing and team building

Base Pay Range
$131,250$210,000 USD
