<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Axle is looking to add a driven, flexible, organized, and meticulous<span style="font-weight: bold;"> Viral Repository Manager </span>to our dynamic team. The Contractor(s) shall provide services in support of the overall functions of the Integrated Research Facility (IRF), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Responsible for oversight of electronic and physical inventories of long-term select agent samples, to include inventories maintained in BSL-4 and inclusive of BSAT.</span></p>
</li>

<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Expand and maintain virus stocks to support research activities at IRF-Frederick.</span></p>
</li>

<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Perform inactivation testing of new virus stocks.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Perform stock or sample irradiation as requested.</span></p>
</li>

<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Provide support and back-up to the Biological Inventory Manager.</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Additional duties include supporting mission priorities in laboratory setting to complete research studies. </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Minimum of a full 4-year course of study from an accredited college or university leading to a B.S. or higher degree that includes specialized training and research in virology, molecular biology, serology, and/or immunology.</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Specific experience working with Select Agent viruses.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Previous recent BSL-4 experience required.</span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p style="margin: 0in;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #2f2f2f; font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 10.0pt;">Previous experience with inventory management systems preferred. </span></p>
