How does this role contribute to our collective success?

The Business Continuity Analyst provides front-line, day-to-day continuity support to all business units across AXIS. This role ensures operational resilience by analyzing critical business functions, documenting recovery requirements, and implementing continuity strategies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines. The Analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders and supports incident response activities to maintain compliance and readiness.

What will you do in this role?

  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Program documentation, including policies, standards, procedures, tools, and templates.

  • Coordinate Business Impact Analysis activities to identify and document recovery requirements for critical business functions.

  • Monitor and report on key Business Continuity Program performance indicators.

  • Support Business Continuity Plan testing and exercises, including developing collateral and analyzing results.

  • Maintain compliance documentation to ensure continuous readiness and audit posture.

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for business continuity technology systems.

  • Track and remediate findings from tests and assessments.

  • Design and deliver business continuity training programs.

  • Support coordination and communication of recovery activities during incidents.

  • Contribute to business continuity-related projects as assigned.

  • Occasional travel for exercises, training, and conferences.

  • Perform other duties as required to support business needs or emergency situations.

 

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

About You:

What you need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or crisis/emergency management.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Proven ability to develop business continuity documentation (Risk Assessments, Business Impact Analysis, policies, standards).

  • Ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with continuity/emergency communication systems.

What we prefer you to have:

  • CBCP, CBCM (ISO 22301), CBCI, CDRE, or similar certifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, emergency management, or related fields.

  • Working knowledge of continuity standards and regulations (ISO 22301, DORA, DFS 500).

  • Evidence of ongoing learning and engagement in the field through memberships, trainings, and conferences.

In this role, you will typically be required to:

Be in the office 3 days per week.

May require availability after hours or weekends during incidents.

Occasional Travel

 

What we offer:

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $95,000 - $110,000 (Alpharetta, GA) and $100,000 - $115,000 (Chicago, IL). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location. 

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more.  

 

Where this role is based in the United States of America, this role is Exempt for FLSA purposes.
