Competencies We Expect in Our New Team Member

 

  • University degree from a related field such as Computer Engineering or Information Systems
  • Knowledge and experience of Backup / Restore solutions (Netbackup,Veeam)
  • Knowledge and experience of File and Email Archiving solutions (Enterprise Vault)
  • Knowledge of Windows Client and Server operating systems
  • Preferably knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • A passion to learn and keep up with the latest technologies
  • Open-minded, self-learner and flexible for change
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Must have a valid work permit in Turkey

 

Areas Where You Will Create Impact

  • Administer and manage backup solutions for effective data protection and restore processes
  • Implement and maintain file and email archiving systems
  • Oversee backup processes for Windows client and server environments
  • Monitor and optimize backup performance to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime
  • Create and maintain comprehensive backup documentation and reports
  • Troubleshoot backup issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Manage and maintein disaster recovery processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless backup and restore operations
  • Stay updated on the latest backup technologies and best practices
