About this role

The Customer & Strategy Department of AXA Partners Holding is recruiting a Global E-commerce Project Manager to support the ambitious goals of its 2030 strategic plan. Historically focused on B2B2C distribution within the AXA Group, AXA Partners has made B2C sales a new strategic priority since 2023. In this context of strong growth, we are strengthening the Holding’s e-commerce teams, whose mission operates in an international environment, supporting both central websites and local entities. While the main focus is currently on Travel Insurance, opportunities will also arise across other AXA Partners business lines such as Health, Home, and Automotive insurance.
 
Within AXA’s E-Business Department, the E-commerce Project Manager oversees the development, optimization, and performance of digital sales and service platforms. He/she is responsible for ensuring a smooth, efficient, and high-performing customer experience that aligns with business objectives and AXA’s digital strategy. This position involves working with a wide variety of stakeholders in a multicultural, multi-supplier, and sometimes globalized environment.

 

 

What you’ll be doing:

Digital Project Management :
  • Identify conversion optimization levers (new subscription journeys, integration of new features, etc.).
  • Contribute to gathering business requirements and defining the vision and action plan for prioritized initiatives and functionalities.
  • Write functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and any external providers.
  • Conduct functional testing and oversee go-live processes.
Deployment :
  • Contribute to drafting functional documentation.
  • Support local entities in deploying new functionalities, including marketing and e-commerce best practices.
E-commerce Performance Optimization :
  • Monitor key KPIs (conversion rate, average basket value, subscription funnel performance, etc.).
  • Identify continuous improvement levers and build action plans with A/B testing, business, and UX teams.
  • Collaborate with IT and Data teams to maximize platform performance.
Coordination & Community Management :
  • Work closely with business, product, and technical teams.
  • Ensure strategic alignment between e-commerce initiatives, the AXA brand, and its various offerings.
  • Promote best practice sharing across countries.
  • Lead global e-commerce webinars and community activities
Innovation & Market Watch :
  • Conduct benchmarking to identify best practices and track market and competitor trends.
  • Identify emerging e-commerce and insurtech trends.
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance AXA’s digital customer experience.

 

 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in E-commerce role
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of marketing, UX/UI, and conversion optimization.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce CMS, SEO, GEO, analytics, and tracking tools (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, etc.)
  •  
    Strong analytical mindset, rigor, and results orientation.
  • Ability to work in an agile, cross-functional, and international environment.
  • Data-driven and customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify pain points and propose relevant solutions.
  • Fluent English required (both written and spoken)
