About this role

This role, part of the FP&A team, is responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis and support to the Divisional Planning team across multiple planning cycles. Key responsibilities include taking ownership of budgeting and forecasting, delivering ad hoc reports, and ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives. It requires robust collaboration and stakeholder management across various geographical locations, engaging with diverse teams to gather inputs, communicate insights, and ensure consistency in financial planning. The role demands analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a globally distributed environment.

What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Supports financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to align with strategic goals in collaboration with the Divisional Planning team across multiple planning cycles.
  • Extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large and complex data from multiple systems and tools.
  • Coordinating with Insurance/Re-Insurance Planning, controllers and Divisional Teams to validate and adjust plan/forecast numbers.
  • Designing and developing new reports and models as needed.
  • Managing the production and maintenance of supporting documentation related to processes, systems, and controls.
  • Creating and implementing controls and quality checks in files.
  • Supporting the Balance Sheet close process and analyzing Balance Sheet.
  • Communicating effectively with the onshore team (both written and verbal) and managing expectations.
  • Handling multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
  • Supporting process automation and standardization of reports and workflows.

You will report to Senior Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • CA or MBA post-qualification experience in an organization, with a effective background in Finance Planning & Analysis.
  • Robust functional skills backed by excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, and SQL.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry will be an additional advantage.
