YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities), which makes it a rich and stimulating place to work.

 

Within the Group, you will join the Finance department.

 

Within Group Finance, you will be part of the Procurement team, composed of:

  • The Head of Procurement and third-party risk management department
  • A buyer for IT, software and data
  • A legal counsel
  • A manager for critical third-party management (critical outsourcing, DORA third party risk management, vendor risk framework and CSRD)
  • A Procurement support member for Purchase Order approval, procurement support and analyses

 

 

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:

 

 

The Buyer for General Expenses (GENEX) and professional services is responsible for supporting business teams from GIE AXA in their sourcing requests by negotiating legal and commercial terms.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

1. Support business teams in their purchasing needs

  • Interact with business teams to explore their purchasing needs, identify the best solutions and anticipate sourcing requests in advance in order to organize the best adequate sourcing approach;
  • Implement the Procurement policy of the GIE AXA and AXA SA in order to promote best practices, develop competitive dialogue and strengthen compliance;
  • Manage end-to-end Request for Proposals (RFx) on diversified sourcing topics such as consulting services, training, legal services, events, outsourcing, or facility management;
  • Contribute to our “Vendor Risk Framework” approach in order to prevent and manage operational risks linked to third parties;
  • Interact with members of the Procurement community within other AXA entities and our Group Procurement function based in AXA GO;

 

2. Reporting

  • Report the savings and indicators linked to the GENEX and Professional Services’ scope: savings reported to the Group, Minimum Control Procurement Framework (MCPF), savings initiatives Let'sGo & Scale, CSRD, ESG;
  • Carry out Procurement analyses on xls to segment spend, identify Procurement initiatives or present Procurement ambition.

 

3. Stakeholder Coordination 

Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including:

 

  • Procurement
  • Legal (contract clauses, regulatory integration)
  • Business Owners (needs assessment, performance monitoring, exit plans)
  • Vendor Risk Framework:
    • IT Security (assessments, risk and criticality classification)
    • Business Continuity / Resilience (exit strategies)
    • Data Protection Office (GDPR compliance, DPIAs)
    • Compliance (regulatory adherence)
    • ESG and Reputation

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Master in Procurement level M2
  • Flexibility and intellectual curiosity
  • Autonomy
  • Ability to work in an international and matrix environment
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent French and English skills (read, written and spoken)
  • Excellent stakeholder-management and, communication skills,
