Job Summary:

Avnet is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Content Development Engineer to join our global team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the creation of and the enrichment of new designs, utilizing both block diagram and full schematic development, content curation, and communication between our Global Engineering Content Creation (GECC) team and our supplier engagement team and sponsors. As a key technical contributor between Avnet and its sponsors, you will both develop new designs and continuous enrichment of older designs utilizing the latest technology stacks. The primary focus of this role is to build and maintain outstanding content showcasing our sponsors newest technologies to impact the market verticals they are focused on.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Collaborated with global suppliers to strategically expose innovations to targeted market verticals and worldwide design engineering teams, driving adoption and market impact.

• Cultivate sponsor relationships through proactive technical exchanges, ensuring seamless flow of critical component data and fostering long-term partnerships.

• Expose emerging technologies, creating a robust knowledge base for design engineers to utilize in the acceleration of product development.

• Map cutting-edge supplier solutions to design libraries and industry verticals, accelerating integration and enabling rapid prototyping for engineering projects.

• Partner with content development, product, and sourcing teams to pinpoint high-potential use cases for new technologies, aligning offerings with evolving market demands.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• A detail-oriented individual with a passion for technology and process improvement.

• Experience in an emerging technical content environment is a plus.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global setting.

• Experience working with electronic components and new technologies to create and enrich circuit designs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with external partners (suppliers) and internal stakeholders.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree in electronic/electrical engineering or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Strong understanding of electronic components and their applications.

• English proficiency speaking and writing.

• Familiarity with the electronic design process is a plus.
