Supplier Retention Representative

<h3><b>Overview</b></h3><p>As a <b>Supplier Retention Representative</b>, you will support suppliers by resolving inquiries, providing product education, and helping them optimize their E-payment solutions. You will assist low-dollar spend accounts, build strong relationships, and contribute to retention and revenue goals through consultative guidance. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset while partnering with internal teams to ensure seamless supplier experiences.</p><h3><b>What You’ll Do</b></h3><ul><li><p>Respond to supplier inquiries via phone, email, and other channels in a timely and professional manner</p></li><li><p>Provide consultation to help suppliers understand and optimize E-payment solutions, processes, and timelines</p></li><li><p>Engage in consultative sales practices to enhance retention and identify revenue opportunities</p></li><li><p>Identify emerging trends and insights based on supplier interactions and communicate them to the business</p></li><li><p>Handle escalated supplier issues and collaborate cross-functionally to drive resolution and preventative actions</p></li><li><p>Partner with internal teams to support supplier-facing initiatives and identify process improvements</p></li><li><p>Manage low-dollar spend accounts ranging from $0 to $500,000</p></li></ul><h3><b>What We’re Looking For</b></h3><ul><li><p>1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing or customer service role (supplier relations is a plus)</p></li><li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and CRM systems such as Salesforce</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated and disciplined, able to manage tasks independently</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking when resolving supplier issues</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships</p></li><li><p>Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends</p></li><li><p>Adaptability to evolving processes and tools</p></li><li><p>Comfortable presenting solutions and ideas to suppliers or internal teams</p></li></ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About AvidXchange<br></strong></p> <p style="line-height: 28px;">AvidXchange is a leading provider of accounts payable (“AP”) automation software and payment solutions for middle-market businesses and their suppliers.
