<p>AvidXchange is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build best-in-class products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product and Architecture—to analyze, design, develop, test, maintain, and deliver high-quality software solutions. As part of the Payments team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining payment execution and delivery services. This includes working on check payment processing, virtual cards, and other electronic payment methods. The role requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies and Azure cloud services, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for payment platform</p>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14px;">What You’ll Do</span></strong></span></p>
<ul>

<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Perform full life cycle application development, enhancement, research, and proof of concepts.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Participate in both low-level and high-level application design, providing guidance and feedback on available technology options.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement API integrations for seamless data exchange.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Develop and maintain modern pipelines leveraging data streaming and APIs to support various business applications.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Implement event-driven architectures to enhance real-time data processing and streamline data flows for timely decision-making.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Implement cross-domain solutions, including integration patterns for customer-facing, operational, and analytic systems, along with workflows, policies, support, and reporting associated with enterprise MDM capabilities.</span></span></p>
</li>

<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Collaborate with other developers and architects to determine optimal solutions for architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Follow DevOps principles such as CI/CD to automate and streamline data engineering workflows.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Support Solution and Enterprise Architects in the design, review, and implementation of new architectural solutions.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Mentor Software Engineers, including onboarding, explaining domain knowledge, best practices, and performing code reviews.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure maximum performance and security.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Work closely with QA to review, approve, and design test cases, ensuring all requirements are met.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Support Product Management in creating product roadmaps and ensuring quarterly objectives are realistic and achievable.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Collaborate with other product development teams to create alignment and consistency across projects.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14px;">What We’re Looking For</span></strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">10+ years of .NET software development experience creating SaaS-based applications.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Strong knowledge of .NET 8.0, C#, Visual Studio, WCF, AJAX, HTML, ESB (Neuron a plus), Kendo UI, SSIS/T-SQL, jQuery, JSON, MVC 4/5, Entity Framework.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Experience with SOA, web services, REST, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, and XML.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs, leveraging events, messaging systems, and ETL processes.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Familiarity with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Event Hub.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Experience with source control systems (such as CVS, Git, TFS) in continuous integration environments.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.</span></span></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><span style="color: #4a4a4a;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices.</span></span></p>
