<p><b><span>Collections Representative</span></b></p><p><span>The Collections Representative is responsible for helping to achieve the company financial </span><span>goals. An incumbent is responsible for contacting the high risk and delinquent accounts in </span><span>an effort to effectively resolve account delinquency and prevent losses.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>What you’ll do</span></b></p><ul><li><span>Perform skip tracing to contact the debtor, research each account using company records and Internet resources that are made available</span></li><li><span>Contact debtors by telephone/email or mail regarding collection and recovery of outstanding accounts</span></li><li><span>Develop collections methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding </span><span>company financial goals</span></li><li><span>Work closely with team members to create ways to bring in revenue and find </span><span>success as a group</span></li><li><span>Solve problems quickly and create solutions that bring revenue on regular basis</span></li><li><span>Process repayments and refunds if needed</span></li><li><span>Meet defined department goals and activity metrics as assigned by management</span></li><li><span>Follow up on promise to pay and payment commitment accounts to ensure a positive resolution and client satisfaction</span></li><li><span>An incumbent may perform additional duties as assigned</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What we’re looking for</span></b></p><ul><li><span>High school diploma required </span></li><li><span>Customer Service or Collections Experience</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication and negotiation skills (written and oral)</span></li><li><span>Patience and ability to manage stress</span></li><li><span>Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results</span></li><li><span>Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment</span></li><li><span>Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency</span></li></ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About AvidXchange<br></strong></p> <p style="line-height: 28px;">AvidXchange is a leading provider of accounts payable (“AP”) automation software and payment solutions for middle-market businesses and their suppliers.
