Senior .Net Engineer

This role focuses on modern architecture, system reliability, and business impact, with opportunities to lead technical decisions, mentor peers, and drive engineering excellence in a collaborative environment.</span></p><p><strong><em>This is you</em></strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of professional software development experience with deep C# and Microsoft .NET expertise;</p></li><li><p>Proven experience building modern web services/applications using ASP.NET Core;</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and common design patterns;</p></li><li><p>Experience with SQL-based data stores (e.g., SQL Server) and ORMs like Entity Framework;</p></li><li><p>Hands-on with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing;</p></li><li><p>Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) with an emphasis on human review, correctness, and maintainability.</p></li><li><p>English - Upper-Intermediate level or higher.</p></li></ul><p>Nice-to-have skills:</p><ul><li><p>Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred);</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging, or event-driven architectures;</p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with secure-by-design development practices, including applying OWASP guidance within modern CI/CD pipelines;</span></p></li><li><p>Experience in regulated/high-reliability environments (e.g., financial services, legal, healthcare).</p></li></ul><p><strong><em>This is your role</em></strong></p><ul><li><p>Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET 6/7+;</p></li><li><p>Contribute to architecture and technical design, balancing scalability, performance, and maintainability;</p></li><li><p>Build and consume RESTful APIs and event-driven services integrating internal/external systems;</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions;</p></li><li><p>Lead code reviews and mentor mid-level engineers to improve team quality and velocity;</p></li><li><p>Diagnose and resolve complex production issues via root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong><em>What awaits you at Avenga?</em></strong></p><p><em>At Avenga, everyone matters.
