The Opportunity:
The individual will perform chemical handling activities by following a defined set of procedures and standard practices to ensure safe and efficient operations. Handles hazardous materials (preparing, weighing, packaging, filling and labeling) using all required safety gear, in accordance with cGMP, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and departmental procedures. Ensures strict adherence to safety protocols, hazardous material handling standards, and compliance guidelines to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. Communicates with team members within the job area to exchange essential information, providing explanations or interpretations to maintain alignment and understanding.
What we’re looking for:
Education: B.E./BSc - Chemical/Chemistry or MSc – Chemical /Chemistry
Experience: 5 years + in the relevant field
Manage the workforce for the manufacturing and packaging of Panoli products through a staff of both professionals and contract labor.
Should be responsible for validation to commercialization batches of Products.
Direct the team and is accountable for optimum departmental safety, quality, productivity, service, inventory, employee relations, training and budget control in relation to assigned area of managerial control.
Co-ordinate for Marketing/Customer Service issues such as product availability, new product development, complaint resolution and operational enhancements driven by customer needs.
Manage through others capital project improvements necessary to enhance the business.
Identifies critical performance goals and develops a plan which enables the teams to achieve those objectives.
Develop a department work plan that integrates all the required key deliverables.
Assures compliance to regulatory standards.
Resolve all conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Works effectively with other plant departments and corporate functions.
Participates on multi-functional project teams such as product growth, global planning and forecasting.

Identify with staff areas for impactful process opportunities and drive improvement.
Drives accountability and confronts performance issues and follows through until a successful behavior change has been achieved.
Manages production areas to meet or beat expense budget through deployment of tools for Operational Excellence.
Sponsor cost-savings teams for development of cost savings initiatives.
Develops and supports metrics to trend performance in terms of cost, quality, productivity, service and safety.
Drive alignment of Production goals with Avantor overall goals and objectives.
Responsible for preparation and review the deviation investigation report.
Responsible for preparation SOP and validation protocol and report.
Responsible for training imparted to concern person.
