ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for securing long-term fleet, dealership, and insurance partnerships, while growing existing accounts.

This position is for hunters. You will be prospecting, negotiating contracts, and representing ACX externally, while collaborating closely with internal operational teams to ensure strong execution.

 

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Drive year-over-year revenue growth across multiple collision locations
  • Secure long-term, high-quality fleet and dealership contracts
  • Strengthen partner loyalty and referral pipelines
  • Position the organization as a trusted collision repair partner

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business with fleets, dealerships, and insurance partners
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with decision-makers and referral sources
  • Prospect through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and referrals
  • Qualify opportunities based on vehicle mix, repair complexity, and shop capabilities
  • Represent the organization at industry events, partner meetings, and conferences

 

Contract Negotiation & Sales Execution

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution
  • Negotiate service agreements, SLAs, and standardized partnership terms
  • Ensure contracts align with operational capacity, quality standards, and profitability

 

Account Management & Partner Growth

  • Grow revenue and repair volumes within existing fleet and dealer accounts
  • Act as the primary escalation point for key partners
  • Conduct quarterly or bi-annual performance reviews with major accounts
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new partners to operational teams

 

Revenue & Performance Tracking

  • Support regional revenue growth objectives
  • Track and report on performance metrics including revenue growth and repair volume
  • Adjust business development strategies based on results and market conditions

 

Internal Collaboration & Representation

  • Work closely with Operations, Estimators, and administrative teams to ensure execution
  • Align partner expectations with operational workflows and capacity
  • Act as a professional ambassador for the organization internally and externally

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 5+ years proven experience in B2B business development or partner sales, experience in fleet or automotive industry is an asset
  • Strong track record of prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals
  • Experience negotiating service or commercial agreements
  • Ability to work independently across a large geographic territory
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
