Headquartered in New York City, Authentic has offices in major metropolitan cities including Los Angeles and Miami, as well as Toronto, Mexico City, London, and Shanghai.</p></div><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p> <p>The Brand Coordinator - Japan will collaborate with a world-class team and network of industry partners to develop and implement a strategy to grow our lifestyle and entertainment revenues, as well as generate awareness, relevancy and growth for Authentic in Japan. If you are a creative, strategic, seasoned Business Manager with licensing business development and marketing experience, we’d like to meet you!</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>What you’ll be working on</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage business processes that align with business strategies, planning, and vision.</li> <li>Maintain records for tracking and reporting systems to streamline processes.</li> <li>Assist in tracking new licensing agreements and financials related to the Japan market.</li> <li>Serve as support for special projects as assigned. Maintain internal policies and procedures for administrative activities. Implement work plans and initiatives.</li> <li>Support the creation and management of budget projections, analyzing revenue, and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify business opportunities and develop and implement solutions.</li> <li>Work closely with Finance, Legal, Marketing, PR, and other teams on cross-functional initiatives to drive Japan strategy and operations.</li> <li>Gather and analyze information from cross-functional teams to identify Japan specific opportunities</li> <li>Participate in business strategy discussions with cross-functional leadership in setting Japan specific plans.</li> <li>Research and analyze business data for accuracy, trends, and variances to maximize business potential.</li> <li>Engage, inspire and galvanize the organization through operational and strategic projects that help drive business for the Japan based team.</li> <li>Assist in overseeing the direction, implementation, execution and continuous improvement of the licensing process.</li> <li>Localize materials – using local market knowledge and experience, translate corporate communications, brand PR and other materials either from Japanese to English, or from English to Japanese as the use case may require</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Must Haves:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication skills and ability to work with brand and business teams to develop and execute against measurable goals</li> <li>Strong mindset for understanding the Japan licensing business landscape</li> <li>Experience managing external partners, including licenses and agencies</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in licensing, business development or marketing</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li> <li>Must be flexible to the needs of a global enterprise, including availability outside of regular working hours</li> <li>Business level proficiency in both Japanese and English</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Fraud Alert: Unauthorized Job Offers and Impersonations</p> <p>We have been made aware of fraudulent job offers and interview requests being sent by individuals falsely claiming to represent Authentic.
