Job Description Summary:

With supervision, will perform accounting, general administrative duties, and/or research functions to develop a working knowledge of a specific area of study.

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Works in a team environment to perform a plethora of accounting, administrative, or logistics-related tasks.

2. Assists with ongoing initiatives, projects, and special projects as assigned.

3. Collaborates with others to address our business partners’ concerns.

4. Helps to research and compile data for stakeholders.

5. Provides recommendations for new procedures or best practices to improve efficiency.

Knowledge & Skills

Must possess required knowledge and skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

  • Possesses basic accounting and finance knowledge.

  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing, listen to co-workers' directives, and provide exemplary customer service to our business partners.

  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently or as part of a team.

  • Pays attention to detail and follows through on work assignments.

  • Responsible person who adheres to the College’s protocols and guidelines.

  • Maintains the confidentiality of work-related information and materials.

Technology Skills

  • Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.

Required Education

  • Must be registered for the Accounting, General Studies, or Logistics Practicum Requirements.

  • Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment.

  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds.

  • Report unsafe working conditions and behavior.

  • Take reasonable and prudent actions to eliminate identified hazards.
