For the latest news from Aurora, visit&nbsp;<a href="https://aurora.tech/" target="_blank">aurora.tech</a>&nbsp;or follow us on&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/auroradriver" target="_blank">LinkedIn</a>.</p> <p style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">&nbsp;</p></div><p>Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. <span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re searching for a Product Manager who<strong> </strong>will drive the design and delivery of mission-critical technology across Aurora and customer terminals.&nbsp; In order to do this, you will partner with key cross-functional teams, including our Commercial Operations, Software, Hardware, Business Development, and Strategy teams, to unlock scale as we expand the network footprint of Aurora’s autonomous trucks.</span></p> <p><strong>In this role, you will</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of integrating self-driving technology into a trucking fleet’s existing operations.</li> <li>Define product vision and roadmap, prioritizing features that deliver the most value to customers and align with business goals.</li> <li>Synthesize product usage data and user feedback into actionable user stories and product requirements for iterative improvement&nbsp;</li> <li>Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, operations, and business development to translate product requirements into user-friendly software solutions.</li> <li>Manage a range of cross-functional stakeholders while navigating key prioritization and timeline tradeoffs</li> <li>Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in self-driving technology, fleet management technology, and the logistics industry.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years in software product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing commercially successful software products.</li> <li>Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges and risks</li> <li>High level of comfort working in ambiguity. Must be able to define the unknown, create structure and manage change.</li> <li>Solid leadership experience with cross-functional teams in service of a large workstream.</li> <li>Experience collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Data to bring product requirements and user experiences to life, while maximizing ROI</li> <li>Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in written and verbal communication</li> <li>Passion for self-driving technology and its potential to revolutionize the transportation industry.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or other technical education) or equivalent practical experience</li> <li>Experience building and managing applications on top of a microservice architecture, including comfort with API contracts and service dependencies.</li> <li>Expertise in multi-platform and multi-OS application development and management, with the ability to navigate trade-offs between various architectural approaches.</li> <li>Experience working directly with design organizations on extreme simplification and clarity in complex user workflows, distilling sophisticated processes into intuitive experiences.</li> <li>Experience operating within the autonomy and/or freight industries.</li> <li>Experience shipping products to enterprise-sized customers</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The base salary range for this position is $181-$262K per year.&nbsp; Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
