About this role
Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Precision CNC Turning Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC lathes to produce high-precision turned components. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CNC programs for turning operations based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring optimal machine performance and tool efficiency.
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy of components.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.
- Document production data, including programming changes, tooling used, and inspection results.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices in CNC turning and machining technology.
- Proven experience as a CNC Turning Programmer in a precision machining environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and related machinery.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and ISO standards is a plus.
