About this role
Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. In this position, you will play a vital role in constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures in residential and commercial projects. You will utilize your craftsmanship and expertise to ensure high-quality work that meets safety and aesthetic standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, and cabinetry.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with precision using relevant tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout construction.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform site assessments and calculations for accurate project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety practices.
- Assist in training entry-level carpenters and apprentices, as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of relevant carpentry training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in both commercial and residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- A valid driver's license and flexibility to work at various job locations.
