About this role
Aureol Global Connections is excited to announce the recruitment of 30 skilled Carpenters to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. You will work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial construction, utilizing your craftsmanship and attention to detail to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, and cabinetry with precision and skill.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Perform site measurements and calculations to ensure accuracy before commencing work.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in training apprentices and junior carpenters as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or relevant training program is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
