The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Design Integrator to join our Integrated Design Capability team, based in Sydney.

This is a strategic design role, with a focus on a broad range of projects in urban design and urban strategy, landscape architecture and infrastructure planning around Australia. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, design, and infrastructure, and who is motivated by shaping meaningful, long-term outcomes for places and communities.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:

• Think big, starting with compelling, comprehensive analysis and site appreciation,
• Synthesize ideas, data, and technical inputs into clear, compelling strategies and design responses
• Work with a broad range of different disciplines across a range of sectors.
• Translate complex challenges into clear narratives, using high-quality graphics, diagrams, and verbal communication to influence decision-making and build shared understanding.
• Champion people- and place-based design outcomes, advocating for design excellence, sustainability, and social value with both clients and internal teams.
• Contribute to design leadership, supporting junior designers, and helping to embed integrated design thinking across projects and pursuits.

What we are looking for:

• Initiative, curiosity and passion for what you do
• Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning, and/or Urban Design experience
• Experience in strategy, design and delivery of urban design and landscape projects
• A high level of competence and experience in CAD and the Adobe Creative suite
• 3D modelling capabilities, both digital and by hand – exemplary visual communication is what we are looking for!
• Experience in writing and preparing strategies and design and technical reports
• Experience in design or project management
• Registration with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects or similar accreditation body (Optional)
