How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of the Ground and Underground Team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works.  Your skills will include:

  • Two to three years of professional geotechnical consultancy experience
  • Competency in planning and supervising geotechnical site investigations in accordance with AS1726 and be willing to travel within Queensland and occasionally interstate on a project-by-project basis
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of standard geotechnical analysis software, including but not limited to PLAXIS, GeoStudio suite and Rocscience suite
  • Able to work as part of a both a local and remote (online) team
  • Have demonstrated design and report writing skills with attention to quality
  • Active membership of Engineers Australia
  • Australian Driver’s License

What are we looking for from you?

As well as 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Geotechnical Engineering role, you will also need a tertiary qualification in Geotechnical / Civil Engineering.

You’ll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future.
