What will you do?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil-Environmental engineering professional to join our Water Team in our Global Delivery Center based in Manila. This will be a start of exploring more growth with a world-class company and various types and scales of projects within but not limited to Western Australia and Norther Territory.

  • Tackle the delivery of flood assessment on major Transport (roads and rails)/Land/Water infrastructure/Dams projects in Australia.
  • Collaborate across disciplines internally to address technical queries and drive an optimum engineering solution.
  • As a Flooding & Hydrology engineer, you will join as a key member that adds to the diversity of thought, skills, and experience of the group.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar position (flood modelling and drainage design)
  • With experience in Waterways Investigations (Bridges), Pit and Pipe Network Design, and Overland Flood Studies
  • Proficient in 2D HEC-RAS or TUFLOW
  • With proven experience with Geographic Information Systems such as QGIS, ArcGIS or MapInfo
  • Fundamental understanding of hydrology
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A willingness to collaborate with the team in a knowledge sharing environment
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with different teams in Aurecon
  • Western Australia project would be highly regarded
  • Experience with the following software is advantage: Water Resources (GOLDSIM, AWBM), Hydrology (RORB, RAFTS, ISLAX), 12d and DRAINS
