What will you do?

As our new Associate Director, Process Safety, you’ll work with a team of highly skilled specialists in the Asset Management & Performance service group. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future.

We aspire to be a trusted partner to our preferred clients, working across the whole infrastructure asset lifecycle, advising on investments and decisions that drive value and proactively respond to disruptive change. 

Here are the key things you’ll do:

  • Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of technical risk issues,
  • Apply process safety skills within various markets including emerging hydrogen and ammonia export projects,
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Growing the Process Safety Community

What are we looking for from you?

You’ll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future.

Alongside your industry experience in similar consulting roles, you’ll also have:

  • Technical competency in chemical or mechanical engineering to apply creative solutions to complex problems across all infrastructure industries
  • Delivery of safety management through technical proficiency or exposure to DNV Phast and SAFETI, or similar consequence effects software packages
  • Workshop facilitation or scribing through understanding of hazard identification and analysis methods (HAZID, HAZOP, CHAIR, LOPA, what if, fault & event tree etc…)
  • Understanding of qualitative and quantitative risk-based studies
  • Team leadership and strong client connections

The role may suit experienced individuals with a range of professional profiles; however, process safety knowledge is vital.  Relevant tertiary qualifications and consultancy experience in public and private interface across a range of different market sectors is sought after.
