Job Description
The Focus of the Location Head position is in the area of resource management, competence and people management, budget administration, location administration, acquisition and project management and customer management.
- Acts as local disciplinary head (legal responsibilities) for R&D resources with global reporting lines.
- Acts as first level escalation point for resolving all resource conflicts in location
- Drives ultilization, performance and load balancing of all R&D resources in the location
- Execute cross PDCs and CDs resource transfer when necessary, in consultation with global leads
- Holds final decision authority on R&D resource assignment in location
- Creates, tracks and ensure timely approval for all new and replacement ePRs in the location
- Drives competence development activities to ensure necessary skill level meets projects demands (learning needs analysis, skills matrix, training plan etc).
- Identifies, develops and promotes workforce to meet strategic resource needs for experts, TPLs, key roles and resource management roles
- Drives and executes sub-contractor strategies towards Engineering Service Providers (in alignment with global leads)
- Drives recruitment and retention activities to ensure optimal staffing at right time
Drives location HRD cycle (MySuccess, TMC etc.) in alignment with BU and location framework - Steers, leads and tracks location budget activities (cost center budget planning, hourly rates optimization, R&D Invests, salaries, bonus etc. )
- Represent and champions BA UX’s interests toward central functions in location (e.g. IT, HR, Quality Lab, Purchasing, Facilities etc.)
- Represents and champions BA UX’s interests toward government agencies, research labs and educational institutes (funding, research collaborations etc.)
- Represents the BA UX in the location related audits (e.g. ESH, ISO etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor or above of technical majors, preferrablity Mechanics, Electronics, SW engineering, Automotives
- 3 years line management experiences
- 3 years in automotive/technology industry
- 5 years project experiences at product development
- 2 years quality or process experiences
- 3 years experiences at leading leaders
- 5 years in international team
- experiences in leading international team
