It provides governance, reporting, quality assurance, financial oversight, risk and issue management, project change control, and knowledge management. Through the expertise and discipline of its team, the PMO enables informed decision-making and strengthens project delivery.</p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p> <p>The <strong>PMO Analyst</strong> supports the daily operation of the Project Management Office and helps ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across the project portfolio. The role focuses on governance, reporting, process standardization, and lifecycle support, while also managing small-scale projects end-to-end. Through strong coordination, documentation, and analytical capabilities, the PMO Analyst enables informed decision-making and supports the ongoing maturity of PMO practices.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support intake and definition of small/medium business cases, ensuring clarity of scope, objectives, timelines, costs, and resource needs.</li> <li>Support the vendor onboarding process, coordinating required documentation, approvals, and compliance steps to ensure timely setup.</li> <li>Apply governance standards across the project portfolio, maintaining status of deliverables, milestones, risks, and issues.</li> <li>Maintain PMO repositories (Lessons Learned, risk/issue logs, templates, project documentation).</li> <li>Conduct compliance and assurance checks as directed by the Director of Project Management.</li> <li>Promote consistent use of PMO processes, templates, and lifecycle standards across all project teams.</li> <li>Coordinate recurring reporting cycles and consolidate project updates into clear, concise portfolio reports for leadership.</li> <li>Update and maintain project plans and dashboards based on PM and governance input.</li> <li>Manage communications through the PMO inbox including reporting requests, reminders, and distribution of project materials.</li> <li>Contribute to the development and continuous refinement of PMO standards, processes, and templates.</li> <li>Facilitate workshops to identify improvement opportunities and document actionable recommendations.</li> <li>Maintain and evolve a centralized library of best-practice templates and tools for project teams.</li> <li>Support the rollout of quality processes and PMO standards across all projects.</li> <li>Develop and maintain project schedules and documentation.</li> <li>Coordinate tasks, resources, stakeholder communications, and dependencies.</li> <li>Track progress against scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets.</li> <li>Manage risks, issues, and change control processes.</li> <li>Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.</li> <li>Ensure a smooth transition to operations/support and lead project closure, including post-implementation reviews.</li> </ul> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS or BA degree required</li> <li>3+ years in PMO support, project coordination, or project administration.</li> <li>Experience managing small projects or major components of larger initiatives.</li> <li>Exposure to both Agile/Scrum and traditional project management methodologies.</li> <li>Familiarity with project management tools and best practices.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent organization, documentation discipline, and attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to manage stakeholders professionally with tact and confidence.</li> <li>Strong prioritization and time-management capabilities.</li> <li>Operates with integrity, accountability, and a continuous-improvement mindset.</li> <li>Brings teams together and fosters collaborative working relationships.</li> <li>Decisive, outcome-focused, and resilient under pressure.</li> <li>Builds trust and maintains professionalism in all interactions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>LOCATION:&nbsp;</strong>Boston, MA. This position is in the office 3 days/week. These in-office requirements may be adjusted based on the needs of the business</p> <p></p> <p>For&nbsp;Massachusetts&nbsp;only:&nbsp;The&nbsp;base&nbsp;salary&nbsp;range&nbsp;for&nbsp;this&nbsp;position&nbsp;is&nbsp;<em>$90,000-&nbsp;$120,000</em>. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
