<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p>
<p>The position is responsible for the financial reporting and accounting for Audax Private Debt based in <strong>Boston</strong>. The <strong>Finance Manager</strong> is also a key contributor to the Private Debt valuation process and is responsible for the compliance and control processes related to several Private Debt Funds. Private Debt invests in debt securities of middle market companies backed by private equity sponsors via a variety of different investment vehicles. The candidate will work closely with the Valuation, Investor Relations, CLO, FP&A, Tax and Senior Debt Deal teams.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and detail-oriented team player who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and must be able to prioritize and complete all projects with precision in a timely manner. As Audax Private Debt continues to grow, the position will evolve with the direction of the business’ needs.</p>
<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Preparation and review of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, fund level returns and investor deliverables for various Private Debt funds</li>
<li>Work with the Investor Relations team in preparing fundraising materials and in providing information for investor requests, including fund performance data, fee information and underlying portfolio financial information</li>
<li>Prepare monthly and quarterly MD&A on fund performance for senior management</li>
<li>Contribute to the valuation process for debt, equity and CLO investments</li>
<li>Review fund administrator’s work on various Private Debt funds</li>
<li>Administration of assigned funds: prepare/review, coordinate, calculate capital calls and distributions</li>
<li>Work with the Tax team in preparing quarterly tax estimates as well as year-end tax allocations</li>
<li>Track and update the portfolio of investments for the various Private Debt funds</li>
<li>Track interest payment receipts across portfolio team</li>
<li>Daily cash management, monitoring, and reconciliation with the bank</li>
<li>Take a lead role with the firm’s outside auditor in preparation/review of year-end audited financials</li>
<li>Be available to provide timely communication to internal and external stakeholders on projects when required</li>
<li>Responsible for coaching and developing junior team members</li>
</ul>

<li>Demonstrated consistency in meeting deadlines with quality work product</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with a CPA</li>
<li>5 plus years of experience, including public accounting, preferably focusing on alternative investment asset managers</li>
<li>Extensive experience with Private Equity/Debt valuation</li>
<li>SEC/BDC reporting and CLO experience is a plus</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>LOCATION</strong><strong>: Boston, MA. 3 days/week in office</strong>. These in office requirements may change based on the needs of the business.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;">For Massachusetts: The base salary range for this position is <em>$125,000- $150,000. </em></span><span style="font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 10pt;">The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance. </span></p>
