Auckland Council’s Regional Parks team is seeking a Senior Ranger to join the Northern Regional Parks team and lead the Community Portfolio. This key leadership role supports safe and enjoyable outdoor recreation and education while conserving and protecting natural and cultural heritage.
You will lead a team of Sector Rangers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to build capability. As part of the Senior Leadership Team involves building strong relationships with iwi, community groups, and stakeholders to improve community connection.
Leading our volunteer programmes, you will provide strategic direction and day‑to‑day oversight to ensure volunteers are engaged and able to make a meaningful contribution to park outcomes and community stewardship.
